The exterior shell is super insulated - including continuous rigid insulation on the wall assemblies - and has a tight air barrier. Windows details around the custom windows and roof details were carefully thought out to mix the modern and the rustic farm materials. The mechanical system features high performace electric heat pumps and a fully independent heat recovery ventilator - HRV.
